The way to measure dissolved oxygen.
1.Dissolved oxygen meters can be used to measure dissolved oxygen concentration, dissolved oxygen saturation, and temperature. Widely used in surface water, seawater, sewage, and aquaculture.

2.The analysis methods for dissolved oxygen measurement can be divided into two categories: the coated electrode method (Jipu method) and the fluorescence method.
Electrode method:
The method of measuring dissolved oxygen is based on the current generated by the redox reaction between oxygen and the electrode. The solution to be measured needs to have a certain flow rate. To obtain accurate measurements, periodic maintenance is required.
Fluorescence method:
The fluorescence quenching effect will cause the attenuation of the fluorescence intensity and the shortening of the fluorescence lifetime. Therefore, the dissolved oxygen content can be measured by measuring the fluorescence intensity or the length of the fluorescence lifetime. It can measure the oxygen content of water with no flow rate. It does not require a magnetic stirrer and the measurement is more accurate.

Factors affecting dissolved oxygen measurements.
Factors that affect dissolved oxygen in water include abiotic factors such as altitude, air pressure, temperature, salinity, wind, and hydrodynamic conditions, as well as biological communities such as higher aquatic plants and phytoplankton.
Temperature compensation
The solubility of oxygen in water changes with temperature under given pressure conditions. Temperature is directly related to the oxygen content of water. Generally speaking, the higher the temperature, the lower the dissolved oxygen in the water.
cialan Instrument's dissolved oxygen meter supports (0.0-45.0) C automatic temperature compensation.
Air pressure compensation
The solubility of oxygen in water changes with pressure at given temperature conditions.
cialan Instrument's dissolved oxygen meter supports (60.0-110.0) kPa automatic and manual air pressure compensation.
Salinity compensation
The solubility of oxygen decreases with increasing salt content. If you measure water with high salt content such as seawater and harbor water, and the salt content in the water is greater than or equal to 3G/lL, salinity compensation is required. At 15C, for every 1g/L increase in salinity, the saturated dissolved oxygen in water decreases by 0.0559mg/L.
Cialan Instruments' dissolved oxygen meter supports (0.0-50.0) g/L manual salinity compensation.

Cialan Instrument's dissolved oxygen meter series products include laboratory measurement solutions, on-site portable measurement solutions, and online measurement solutions according to different usage scenarios.
