Do you know the precautions, maintenance and method of use for a bioreactor fermenter?
Precautions for bioreactor fermenter
1. Before sterilizing the tank, be sure to check the liquid level and make sure that all electrodes are not below the liquid level.
2. Before turning on the power of the fermentation tank, be sure to check whether the cooling water has been turned on and whether the temperature probe has been inserted into the tank, otherwise the heating circuit will be burned out.
3. During the fermentation process, the workbench must be kept clean. Used culture bottles and other items must be cleaned in time. Any acid or alkali liquid or water spilled for any reason should be wiped dry immediately.
4. When installing, disassembling, and sterilizing the tank, pay special attention to the pH electrode and the fragile and expensive parts of the tank.
Maintenance for bioreactor fermenter
1. If the joint between the air inlet pipe and the water outlet pipe leaks, if tightening the joint does not solve the problem, add or replace the packing.
2. The pressure gauge and safety valve should be checked regularly. If there is any fault, it should be replaced or repaired in time.
3. When cleaning the fermentation tank, please use a soft brush to scrub, and do not scrape with a hard object to avoid damaging the surface of the fermentation tank.
4. The supporting instruments should be calibrated once a year to ensure normal use.
5. Electrical appliances, instruments, sensors, and other electrical equipment are strictly prohibited from direct contact with water or steam to prevent them from getting damp.
6. When the equipment is out of use, it should be cleaned in time to drain the remaining water in the fermentation tank and each pipe; loosen the fermentation tank cover and hand hole screws to prevent permanent deformation of the sealing ring.
7. Carbon steel equipment such as operating platforms and constant temperature water tanks should be painted regularly (once a year) to prevent corrosion.
8. Check the oil level of the reducer frequently. If the lubricating oil is not enough, add it in time.
9. Replace the reducer lubricating oil regularly to extend its service life.
10. If the fermentation tank is not used temporarily, the fermentation tank needs to be sterilized and the remaining water in the tank and each pipe must be drained.
How to use a bioreactor fermenter?
Disposable bioreactors or disposable bioreactors are bioreactors that use disposable bags, which are highly similar to traditional stainless steel reactors, and also reduce production costs.
